This is an interesting postcard from Czech Republic showing a reproduction of an oil painting showing Hrad Buchlov. The description on this postcard is very short: “Hrad Buchlov a Barborka”. The beginnings of this castle date back to the first half of the 13th century.
Today’s interior furnishings, together with a collection of specimens from nature and an extensive library, document the evolution of interior design and lifestyles between the 15th and the 19th centuries. A visit to the castle may be combined with a tour of the private cemetery of the owners of the chapel of St. Barbora.

Charles Bridge is a 14th century stone bridge linking the two sides of Prague. Not only is this magnificent structure one of the city’s finest attractions, it is also the main pedestrian route connecting the Old Town with Mala Strana, and onto Prague Castle. The entrance to Charles Bridge is marked at both ends by towers: the Old Town Bridge Tower and the Mala Strana Bridge Tower.
Charles Bridge is on the top of every Prague visitor’s must-see list. It is also popular with Czech artists, musicians and souvenir vendors whose stands line both sides of the bridge year-round. A great time of day to come to the bridge is at sunset when one can enjoy a breathtaking view of the fully lit Prague Castle against the evening sky.
