Orchard Road is a road in Singapore that is the retail and entertainment hub of the city-state. It is regularly frequented by the local population as well as being a major tourist attraction. Orchard Road supposedly got its name from the orchards and plantations that existed in the area until the turn of the 20th century. The wonderful shopping malls, cafe’s, easy transport, and the hospitality and friendliness of the people. There are wonderful little coffee shops, where one can relax sipping the most divine fruit juices, or anything you fancy.
