It is the largest ancient castle in the world (570 m long, on average 128 m wide, area 7.28 hectares). The Prague Castle complex consists of Saint Vitus Cathedral (Prague’s most recognisable landmark), several palaces, viewing towers, art galleries, a monastery, The Story of Prague Castle Museum, Golden Lane and St. George’s Basilica; the latter being a nice venue for early evening classical concerts.
