The wonderful aerial view of Budapest, also known as the “Pearl of the Danube”, prompted Unesco to place it on the world heritage list. Budapest is the capital city of Hungary in Central Europe. Home to about 1.8 million people, it is Hungary’s commercial and administrative center. Budapest can be divided into the two cities of which it is comprised (Buda and Pest) and one historic district: Castle Hill – District I of Buda, the oldest part of the city containing the eponymous Castle and many of Budapest’s best-known attractions.

Budapest is told to be one of world’s most beautiful cities, Budapest is fast becoming one of the most popular travel destinations in Europe, attracting approximately 20 million visitors per year. Most of Budapest’s famous sights are concentrated on Castle Hill on the Buda side, in downtown Pest and along the riverside walkways. The Danube bridges, especially the Chain Bridge (Széchenyi Lánchíd) are really attractive and make it worthy to promenade along the river bank.
